Arlene, who started standing on the corner of Milton and Haliburton around 3 years ago, moved from Nanaimo the past week. She initially played a daring and controversial role in cleaning up that intersection as well as Cinderella Lane (which is looking right now more like one of the ugly step-sisters…:(
Good luck, Arlene, and happy travels in life.
Re: Farewell Arlene………. You can’t be serious?? Pat on the back??? I think not!!!!!! You would pat Arlene on the back and put wind in the sails of a person ( used lightly) who was charged for attacking a 12 year old girl???? Who made so many (innocent) peoples lives a horror?? I for one ( and I know that there are way more than just me) am elated that this horrible person is gone from my neighbourhood, gone are the days when she smugly screamed at my mom, boyfriend, son, my friends 11 year old granddaughter that we were CRACKHEADS, HOOKERS, DRUG DEALERS ETC…….. unfounded at that (ooopppsss i forgot thieves, child abusers, and also but still my favourite an incestuois sibling!!!!!) With that said………………HHHHHHHHOOOOOOOORRRRRRRAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!!
She is gone, my only regret is that I was camping when she moved and didn’t get to sit across the street with a few hundred of my fellow HAPPY Nanaimoites and applaud the entire time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rochelle, the post was made without judgement. It was simply meant to be a notice that she has left. Whether you see Arlene’s contribution to the neighbourhood as good or bad (or both) is entirely up to you!
